JOB DESCRIPTION :
Job Title : Senior Software Engineer – Java
Experience : 4 to 7 Years (Relevant)
Location : Australia (Sydney)/India (Bangalore)
Opportunity to immigrate to Australia after 8-18 months.
Educational Qualifications : BE/B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA
You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the application suite. This is a full stack, hands-on role that will be developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. As a software engineer, your role will involve building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.
Roles And Responsibilities:
Development of stable, secure and well architected code
To always leave code in a better state than it was when starting
Your code is adequately tested
Actively share knowledge with entire team
Escalate issues/risks to manager when needed
Technical Skills :
Degree in Software / Computer Science / Engineering desirable
4 – 6 years software engineering experience
Strong Java experience
Exposure to large scale applications
Experience with AWS (or cloud technologies)
You continually automate manual processes to drive efficiency
A sense of ownership of technical projects and improvement of engineering practices
You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets
Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach fellow teammates on coding and process standards
You are curious, tenacious, creative
Desirable Skills :
Experience with Golang and React JS
Process & Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ready to explore newer technologies to make the development process easier.
Able to solve problems independently, taking ownership of the projects you work on.
Highly organized and thorough with critical attention to detail and documentation
Proactive, self – motivated, and strong ability to learn new things.
